Working in Perris: what we know from being on the ground here
We pull permits for Perris jobs through the City of Perris Building and Safety Division, which handles permits for new slabs, driveway replacements, foundations, and flatwork throughout the city. We manage permit applications, inspection scheduling, and permit close-out on every job - homeowners do not need to contact the city directly or track any paperwork themselves.
Perris sits in the Inland Empire roughly 75 miles east of Los Angeles, near the junction of the 215 freeway and Ramona Expressway, which are the two main corridors running through the city. Lake Perris State Recreation Area, just east of town, is the local landmark most Perris residents recognize immediately - and homes on the eastern side of the city near the lake are some of the newer subdivisions built in the 2000s. The older residential areas near D Street and downtown Perris have a different character - smaller lots, older foundations, and concrete that has been through 50 or more years of the valley's seasonal soil movement. Skydive Perris, one of the largest skydiving facilities in the country, is a well-known anchor in the local community and draws visitors from across the region.
We also serve homeowners in neighboring Redlands, which sits to the northeast and has a much older housing stock with its own distinct concrete challenges, and in Moreno Valley, which borders Perris to the north and shares many of the same soil conditions and housing-age patterns.
